Wearable Fashion Trends 17: Military Precision

Stand to attention, for classic army and navy styles are a surefire hit for the next season.

Runway: With officers' coats and double-breasted pea jackets on offer, be ready to push Sgt. Pepper throughout fall.

Reality: Make a seafaring impression in a navy wool number with gleaming brass buttons. Look out for collar details too, like stiff lapels, round necks and stand-up styles. Pick a coat in olive green, navy, charcoal or red and team it with chunky boots or patent platforms. You can also layer up in khaki tones or take a bold stand in sharp cuts decorated with buttons and braids. Glitzy embellishment gives the peacoat a Seargent Pepper spin.

Wearable Fashion Trends 16: Grey Matters

It's a fashion cliché but it's true: this season grey is most definitely the new black. Many designers showed it head to toe.

Runway: Whatever you wore with black before, this season wear it with grey. Grey is the contemporary navy blue of fashion.

Reality: Grey will be a fabulous substitute for khaki, this neutral shade has a soft sophisticated edge. Evoke the 1950s cocktail era in a little gray dress, team gray with brown for luxusious look, or inject a dash of drama by mixing gray with canary yellow or red. An embellished little gray dress is a glittering day-to-night option. Slink into a slouchy sweater dress for off-duty chic. Contrast the pared-down hue with bright colored accessories or elegant box-clutch.

Whether daubed over a shoe, bag, belt or dress, fast forward to fall by injecting a bright bolt of color to your look. Geek Fashion With A Hint Of Magic

After the fifth film installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, hit the big screens and the release of seventh and final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , the fashion spotlight has turned its attention to Harry.

It's all about geek chic with a hint of magic. Think V-neck knits thrown over a shirt and tie - diagonally striped, a blazer, capes and hooded robes, bats and rats and Hedwig-esque owls - on everything from earrings and bracelets to printed tees and hoodies.

Following his infamous on-stage disrobing in the West End performance of Equus, all of a sudden, everyone wants a piece of Harry's magic. Check out the trio's photos for Teen Vogue:

World's Richest Models

According to Linda Evangelista, models don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day! Perhaps its true. Models did talk shows. They landed movie roles. They inspired franchises . They dated or married movie stars . And, of course, they made millions.

Last July 16, Forbes.com released the 2007's list of The Top Earning Models in the World. Here they come:

1. Gisele Bundchen - $33 Million

The highest-paid model in the world had two high-profile breakups last year: First she split with boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio and then with longtime client Victoria's Secret. The 26-year-old still commands more money and more contracts than any other model on the planet, gracing ads for Apple, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. Her line of sandals, Ipanema by Gisele, is expanding into the U.S. and Europe. Her latest paramour is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

2. Kate Moss - $9 Million

The 33-year-old superwaif continued her comeback from last year's cocaine scandal: She's the new face of Stella McCartney and Italian sportswear company Belstaff. She also recently launched a clothing line for British retailer Topshop (carried in the U.S. at Barneys New York). Moss has also managed to hang onto modeling gigs with Rimmel, Burberry and Dior. Her relationship with drug-addled British rocker Pete Doherty keeps her in the tabloids.

3. Heidi Klum - $8 Milliom

The 34-year-old model and mother of three (hubby is singer Seal) renewed her Victoria's Secret contract and still helms the hit Bravo reality show Project Runway. She also hosted Germany's version of America's Next Top Model. In her "spare" time, she designs and markets a line of jewelry through Mouawad.

4. Adriana Lima - $ 6 Million

The 26-year-old Victoria's Secret model is probably the most famous Brazilian babe since Gisele Bundchen. She's also the face of Maybelline and Italian phone company Telecom Italia. Her April 2006 GQ cover was the highest-selling issue of the year.

5. Alessandra Ambrosio - $ 6 Million

This olive-skinned beauty, 26, confidently stakes her turf among the Victoria's Secret Brazilian trinity, which is rounded out by former roommate Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima. She also models for Armani Exchange and Next U.K.

These five top-earning models were followed by Carolyn Murphy ($5 million); Natalia Vodianova ($4.5 million); Karolina Kurkova and Daria Werbowy (both $3.5 million); Gemma Ward ($3 million); Liya Kebede ($2.5 million); Hilary Rhoda and Shalom Harlow (both $2 million); and Doutzen Kroes and Jessica Stam (both $1.5 million).

The Simpsons Go To Paris

Simpsons were not just lines and yellow. Their movie will be released and so their fashion line as well.

The August issue of Harper's Bazaar comes with something so funny, so seemingly bizarre, and so unbelievably cool. Julius Preite illustrated The Simpsons at various fall Fashion Week shows while Linda Evangelista created a cartoon to accompany them.

Yellow Handbags Trend

Yellow is a bright, cheerful color, often associated with happiness and peace. Some celebrities such as Rachel Bilson, Katie Holmes and Cameron Diaz know that a yellow handbag adds an instant dose of chic to an otherwise simple outfit. Whether you opt for a small clutch like Rachel or an oversized hobo like Cameron, this trend's a hot one and much more wearable than you'd think.

Sparkling Gold Swimsuit

Swimming in pure gold is now a dream come true. Japan’s jeweler Tanaka Kikinzoku introduced a bathing suit made from more than 17oz of finely woven, pure gold thread. Traditional Japanese craftsmanship and metalworking techniques were used to create this exquisite masterpiece. Unfortunately, even if you are feeling richie-rich, the bathing suit is not for-sale; however a solid gold dress made by the same designer is available at a price of $250,000.

A Bag You Can Throw in the Ocean

Luis Vitton has come up with a version of the elegant Keepal duffel bag that you can drop in the ocean, lake, or tub. This Keepall, created for the 2007 America’s Cup, is identical to the original but is made from waterproof materials that are fused together by high-frequency welding. Again another product for those who wish to be one step ahead of the pack…

Wearable Fashion Trends 15: Romantic-Look

Calling all romantics! According to Marc Jacobs (at Louis Vuitton), the sweetest things come with ruffles and bows. So if you're already bored with cyber-chic and the overtly sexy 'she woman' style, then fall in love with feminine shapes and flirt with florals, silk, soft linen and pretty knits.

Runaway: Not-so-hopeless romantics will adore this season's frills and femininity

Reality: Balance super-feminine dresses with platform sandals or add some retro glamour with jewelled flats and metallic leather bags.

Wearable Fashion Trends 14: Red Carpet

Sumptuous Satin! Embellishments! Corsages! Steal the spotlight at a film festival in a ravishing full-length draped evening gown or an embellished calf-length dress and team up with flamboyant footwear.

Runway: Designer fashion is made for the skinny. It's sad, but true.

Reality: Know which hues work best with your skin and hair. Make either the dress or the accessories the focus, not both. Have fun with fashion by trying something new and pushing the limits of your wardrobe to experience innovative looks. Always remember that nothing kills a red carpet look quicker than bad hair. Whether it's too casual or too contrived for the dress, the wrong hairdo can make or break a star's look.

Daily Advisory: Smoky Eyes

Runway: Hollywood's batting an eye at the latest makeup trend. Smoking is allowed—at least on the red carpet—when it comes to sexy shadow.

Reality: Brush a sheer, shimmery bronze or gray pressed powder shadow from lashline to the crease of your lid. Then rim the lower lashline for added drama that encompasses your entire eye. For added intensity, sweep a light wash of color from lids to brows. Be sure the formula is sheer and shimmery to avoid looking too theatrical.
