Last July 6, fashion designed John Galliano presented the Dior's Fall collection by featuring the house core values instead of using smoke effects, mirrors, loud music, luxurious sets and locations. The models paraded Dior's New Look at the dove gray salons of Dior headquarters. Galliano revealed that the collection was inspired by the behind-the-scenes photos taken many years ago showing Monsieur Dior dressing a group of his favorite models.
For this year's collection, some models emerged in tights with underwear, girdles or corsets in neutral hues or polka dots. The others sported jackets, bubble skirts, padded-hip coats and evening gown with full skirts. The palette includes orange, lime, raspberry, and yellow in contrast with the flesh tones.
